the same way you ask that, i could just as easily ask you the ''opposite'' question.

theists believe that god was the first to create the first. (if that doesn't make sense, it means that if you trace everything that exists today, back to one single thing, you'd call that very first thing, ''god.'') this argument is called the argument of the ''first cause.''

now, from an atheist's point of view, if there can be one thing which spawned everything else into existence, you might as well consider it the universe, instead of god. if god doesn't need to have a creator, why does the universe?

i cant tell you that how god was made, and you cant tell me how the universe was, so how do you know you are right. basically im saying that if you cant find the origin of life in your "religion" (dont know what to call athiesm, beliefs maybe?) then why do you go around proclaiming the truth or whatever. Lots of athiests seem to go apeshit if a christian says theyre going to hell because theres no proof. But theres no proof for being athiest either so wtf...
