On a certain annoyance of speaking English..

This may sound like a rather strange topic, but when you prounounce the "tt" In the middle of a word- such as "Better"- Do you say:

"Bedder"
If you're American you'll probably do this- (Pronounce your T's as D's.) Yet i do this on some occasions and i am English.

The original "Better"
If you're an upperclass Brit you'll probably do this- It generally sounds quite posh.

And of course, the "Be'er"
True English slang, most classes of the average English person will do this; Being of general loutish type accents, that is.

Yes, as said previously- This is a strange topic but curiously interesting- It also says alot about yourself.. Plus as i have OCD, i get obsessed at times with which one i say, which is fucking annoying.

Depends on the company and situation.

For example, with my mates or dad generally messing around I'd say "Be'er" most likely.
But with other people who are older/not seen as much or at a special family occasion like a wedding I'd say "Better".

I say "better". I HATE it so fucking much when people say d's instead of t's or when they completely skip the sound and say something like "thaaa" instead of "that" or whatever.
