I have no idea about other Christian denominations, but Catholics believe anything sexual that occurs outside of marriage and without the intention to create a child is wrong. If a man and a wife are fucking with a condom or other form of b.c., it's wrong. If they fuck while she's pregnant, it's wrong. They believe that our ability to reproduce is a magical gift from God, and we should not waste our sperm (which are particularly magical) on anything else.

Perhaps somebody more knowledgeable could explain why they think sex is sacred? Is it because we're the only species that can do it?
