So, these days, too many people today take religion for granted.
Too often it's what they are learned into at a very young age, yet know nothing about. Too often it's simply a mindless weekly ritual of which there is supposed to be gauranteement for the soul after death. All this while the people follow mindlessly and ignorantly for some sort of fulfillment they will know nothing about.
Simply put religion must be earned.
I view the great atheism of an alarming number of today's young people, including many of my friends, as a form of the most devastating intellectual and spiritual laziness. This group coupled with those who can barely handle making it to church every week are blatant hypocrites.
People have become so lazy and numb these days... Too busy with other 'more important' things, absent from the enrichment that knowledge on this subject could yield.
