Can anyone explain to me why people believe in god? No, seriosly, is everyone fuckin retarded or something? We all believed in santa and the easter bunny and all that other gay shit at one point in our lives, but eventualy we gave it up because it was fuckin stupid. Well how the fuck is god any different? There is absolutely no proof of his existance so why the fuck do so many people believe in him.

If any religios people have any logical reasons (not from the bible because that's fuckin bullshit) to believe in god, let me know. Anyone who agrees with me, feel free to post your beef with religion.

the reason people believe in god is because civilization is very heirarchical. the fittest, most beautiful, strongest, smartest, etc. (i don't mean genetically fittest) were called 'Lords' throughout history. the mythified "Lord," the greatest, most divine of all, sprung from humanity's hyper-consciousness of social dominance/rank.

Have you ever wondered how everything started? Are you telling me, that of the INFINITELY small chances of life occuring on such a PERFECT planet for it to happen, that it did?

There's no proof of God if you choose to believe there is no proof. Jesus was a real man. Whether you want to accept that he is the savior or not is a different story. The Hebrews WERE slaves of the Egyptians. Somehow, they managed to escape.

Does it really harm your life to believe in God anyhow? Oh, I forgot, the morals such as "Thou shalt not kill" are really fuckin stupid, I dont know why anyone would follow THAT rule.
