Your terms are very confusing, but I'll note some key points:
  • You must have DHCP enabled, at least, if you don't know what you're doing.
  • Why do you have two routers? Do you mean broadband modem? A router should have multiple ports and I cannot fathom why you'd link two up.

i have a gilat satellite modem and i plugged that into a sitecom
broadband xdsl / cable router and turned dhcp off to let the satelite router assign ip's... this worked at my house!

but i can only get one connected at a time...
should i just plug a standard switch in where the sitecom is?
will this work? will the satellite modem give ip addresses or is it depending on the isp?

The "satellite router" is a modem, not a router. It will not assign multiple addresses. Turn DHCP back on.

if i plug a plain switch in there it wont work?
wont the satellite router send out 2 or more ip addresses?
so how are you ment to connect more machines to the same
internet connection?

when i put dhcp on the adsl router assigns 192.168.0.x range
thats no good
the satellite range is like 189.39.9.187 subnet 255.255.255.252

You need to plug a router into the modem (it's not a satellite router). A plain switch won't work as this directs packets within the network as opposed to directing HTTP requests in addition to this.

How exactly are you connecting the two devices right now? I'm confused.

The router assigns local IP addresses because of NAT. It's very common and shouldn't hinder normal use at all.
