Who said ANAL was sensitive to rifle fire? Last time I checked An/XX anything was extremly insensitive. Besides you don't get it. If your going to detonate a secondary explosive your not going to be able to fix it onto a clay pigon its going to need a semi decent ammount of explosive to get a decent explosion out of it. You're better off just fucking shooting the explosive as is in a container then wasting time and energy to try to launch it on a clay pigon. Why are you so hard on clay pigons dick?

If I had to guess, I'd imagine he wants an exploding aerial target...

How about you just go and buy your self some tannerite. Its made to be stable and blow up when shot. Or try CuO/Al. It works with pellet guns and 22LR. So about anything will set it off.

I know AN/AL is sensitive to small arms fire because I’ve shot it before. I took two clay pigeons and packed them with 100 grams of AN/AL each, taped them together, and detonated the target with an AR15. I did allot of shit that day.
Black powder, insensitive to rifle fire.
Ammonpulver, insensitive to small arms fire.
An/al with 200 mesh al powder, insensitive to small arms fire.
An/al with 2 micron AL powder BOOM! It also detonated all the AN at the base of the tree stump and disintegrated it.
AN/AL/NM or “ranger venison improvised c4” is also sensitive to small arms fire.

The problem with these is that they are a little too big; I’m trying to make something cheaper that would work in smaller quantities, and be less hydroscopic.

has any one ever done a thread for explosives that are sensative to small arms fire? I've also shot potassium perchlorate based flash powder and got a det, and ive seen video of NG based dynomite deting, but AN/NM failing to det. Ive heard C4 and TNT wont det, but im not sure if range or bullet type could change that.

Yeah I think I've seen that video too ''napalm113'', does it describe how a shaped charge can be made by the common Joe with a wine bottle?
and some stuff on removing the coating on AN with isopropyl/propan-2-ol alcohol?

anyway, no I don't think anyone has ever started a thread like that (could be wrong).

oh and it's ''Hygroscopic'' not ''hydroscopic'' you fiend!

Har har...

You could make some AP putty, shape it into a disc, then give it a few layers of NC lacquer to protect it while it is being launched/handled.
