ive been looking up some info on it since living here and it seems in the next 6 years they plan on doubling their wells in the backcountry. most likely destroying millions of acres of wild life, beautiful places and polluting our already too fucked up air. do you think the expansion of oil drilling should be stopped?

It's one of many desperate last-ditch-effort smash & grabs we'll see as we gradually enter the death throes of the oil age.

People say they want to save the environment, but when push comes to shove, they'll take having expensive gas available to use over saving the planet.

Yeah, I don't really want a vehicle since they cost a fortune and the costs for them keep going up, but it can't be helped.

I'd walk or ride a bike 5 miles. That was nothing. The problem I have is suburban sprawl. Places I need to get to are like 35+ miles away. That's not at a level where you can talk about walking it and remain practical. Especially in Texas with the heat.
