EVOLUTION VS CREATION!
I'm getting tired of seeing this bullshit. neither side is fully prepared to defend it's arguments, no matter what they say. you all have holes in your theories, and nobody was there to actually see what was going on (GOD DOES NOT COUNT YOU IGNORANT FUCKING HOLIER THAN THOU ASSHOLE). some points that frustrate (and embarass me, coming from both sides of this argument) are:
1) creationist's steadfast refusal to use up-to-date sources for their articles.
in a perfect example, and I can get the author and title of the article if anyone is interested, I saw an article the other day that used NO sources older than 1974! nearly 32 years old, using sources that are out-dated by the people who would otherwise be following them!
2) evolutionists steadfast refusal to admit that there even COULD be a God. by definition, you wouldn't understand him, so stop looking at the way christians/muslims/buddhists (insert random assholes with funny hats and fight songs here) act and open your fucking mind.
3) scientologist bullshit. personality tests are falliable, because the people that make them are falliable. the fact that they just keep making more complicated ones speaks of nothing but too much spare time.
4) metaphorical creation: so what, you believe in the bible, except this part? believe in all of it or none of it.
5) intelligent design: if there's some intelligence behind all of this, how does that explain YOUR existance?
Maybe you should educate yourself about the debate and you wont look so ignorant.
If you don't like hearing about it, don't read it.
quote:you all have holes in your theories,
Really? Name a damning hole in evolution.
quote:nobody was there to actually see what was going on
Because evidence doesn't matter.
I can see it now in a court room,
Defendant to jury: "Ignore the knife with the victims blood on it, ignore that it was found on the suspect who was covered in the victims blood, ignore the suspects blood on the broken window or the injuries he got in the struggle, etc. There was no one there to see it, thus you must find my client not guilty."
quote:2) evolutionists steadfast refusal to admit that there even COULD be a God.
I'll be sure to tell the large number of christians who believe in evolution, including the POPE, that you don't think they believe in God.

Maybe a divine creator made the world, then again maybe he didn't.
maybe we evolved from organic matter, then again maybe we didn't.
evolution is a much better theory than that of christianity/islam/judeism, however i wont deny that there is a possibility that the universe was created...
it's just not a very high one.
you dumbshits. evolution has nothing to do with the creation of the universe or the begining of life. it only deals with how one form of life changes into another.
evolution is accepted by virtually all scientists and people educated on the subject.
would you question that objects accelerate at 9.8m/s/s as well?

The notion that objects fall without the help of a divine creator is RIDICULOUS. So objects just always accelerate at 9.8 m/s/s? Where does this force field come from? A blob of inanimate matter? Absurd. The obvious answer is something "supernatural," such as a God.
Also, your "theory" isn't even consistent!!! EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE demonstrates objects accelerate at DIFFERENT accelerations depending upon where we are on this planet. Your "g-value" will be different in Denver than it is in Miami, for example (probably because Jesus hates Florida, but let's stay away from the contreversial stuff). To answer your question, how can you NOT question this dogma in light of such compelling evidence?
To summarize, your theories behind mechanics are littered with holes. Why do you disregard all the evidence against the theory of gravity? Why do you blindly accept this dogma? Why do you refuse to accept Intelligent Falling, which has withstood fierce attacks from the scientific community? Why do you continue to reject God?
I can easily see that stolen and used as a serious attack against 'secular gravity' in a creationist book.

1. Agreed
2. No scientist is denying the possibility that there could be a God, because every scientist knows that it is impossible to prove something does NOT exist.
3. scientology is fucking dumb. Enough said.
4. People are allowed to believe what they want.
5. Intelligent design is a stupid concept. If anything, the people that believe in intelligent design prove evolution doesn't exist.
Furthermore, the Theory of Evolution does not deny the existance of God.

what does it matter if it does or not? the people who say it does are simply relying on math, not on any measurements,a nd the people who say it doesn't weren't there to witness it the acceleration anyway! so fuck both sides of this argument!
okay, now for gaping holes in the evolutionary theory: we have no damning evidence of one species irrevocably becoming another (or if we do have it, fess up). there's still a 'missing link', for example (although I think I've met a great many people who would qualify for that title, if anybody still wants to find it).
I'm also amused (and incredibly pleased) that nobody has come to bat for 'intelligent design'. the religious twits tout this as their 'retort to evolution' (late as usual), not realizing that saying "some big intelligence did this" is NOT the same as saying "my God did this", thereby taking the credit away from their God (which, for the Judeo-Christian religions of christianity, catholocism, judaism, and islam, is a sin).
this is really turning out quite a bit better than I'd thought. keep posting, even if only to flame me.

Where... Where do you think we derive the amth from? Fanciful wishes? Unicorns? Jebus?
And no one's batting for creationism because there is no use responding to someone who has compeltely amde up their mind about being an immovable brick in the ay of every theory available. You, sir, are a nuisance and are damaging to humanity as a whole and nothing more.

you totally missed the correct counter-argument of a bad analogy.

that was sarcasm. either recognize it and contribute something useful, or don't recognize it and be a retard.
just because I'm feeling extra generous, i'm going to spell out HOW this is sarcasm:
lets say that the argument isn't about creation/evolution, it's about gravity, and that one major (un-named) world religion doesn't believe in gravity. saying "fuck both sides of the gravity argument" is a satirical take on the creation/evolution argument.
holy shit. open your fuckin minds.

+1
I try to stay out of this shit (and I will for the most part).
Chocosura, Choscura, Count Chocula, or whatever the hell your name is: you're fucking retarded.
Yes, I do see the irony in what I just said.
