Where in the Bible does it say EXPLICITLY that Jesus is God's son?

Aside from all of the "god is my father", "my father in heaven", etc. verses. As nowadays EVERY Christian is one of god's children, and he is the "heavenly father" who watches over us all etc. Where in the Bible does it give a description of Jesus as being anything other than a child of god, like humans apparently are?

John 3:16 for starters. Kind of a big verse for the whole Christian religion.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, and whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

I think thats an amalgam of several translations, but it gets the job done.

Ok, again, did Jesus ever say himself that he was sent by god specifically to die as a sacrifice?

Or was it 100 years after he was dead, when they wrote the shit down, they decided that was what his intent all along?

Jesus was the son of God, and yes, he is "human" as much as the rest of us, but he was perfect. And, he is also part of the Godhead. He is not "humanity" or ourselves. Both Jesus and his Father have bodies like us, but the thing that distinguishes them is that they are prefect.

first prediction of the passion

Mark 9:30-32

second prediction

the gospels were written 40 years after Jesus' death, the latest book in the New Testament being finished BEFORE 100 years.



and about the different versions of the Bible... different faiths have copmletely different versions, but the Roman Catholic Bible is the same eveyrwhere, the only differences being words that have the same meaning.

but the thing is... the New Testament hasn't been rewritten. Just translated from 6,000 Greek manuscripts found a few years after the originals were written. The discrepancies in these? Spelling errors, and little word alterations, e.g. Jesus instaed of Jesus Christ. these manuscripts are 99.5% accurate in comparison to one another.

finally...... The New Testa,emt hasn't been translated so many times that it is ocpm[letely different. Each version is translated DIRECTLY from Greek and Hebrew in which it was written

That was written after he was dead anyhow.

Once again, god sacrificed his son - to please himself - so he could forgive us humans that he loves - and wouldn't have to send us to hell( the place he made to send people) - as long as they believe this crazy story. Ok, got it.
