The people who take pleasure from misery (Yes, They exist)

What do those who beleive in heaven and hell have to say about this? Where do they go? I assume hell would be the equivilent of heaven for them. comments? I just thought of this and I'm very interested.

whatever it is its not what they take pleasure in.

also, i think their pleasure in pain has a pretty quick limit.

Pain does not have limits for everyone. Seriously.

"People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain." -Jim Morrison, The Doors

They probably are trapped in an endless void, complete alone in the dark for eternity.

The thought of that terrifies me.

Lol not every phsyco in the world is like that because they were raped, or had bad parents, or were locked in closets all their lives or bullied. Some people just naturaly see what they do as right and have different morals and belifs but who are you to say that what you percive as reality and morality is correct?

If hell is earth, let it be written that I believe I can cope with it. It's not so bad. It's all in the perspective. Having a sense of humor helps, too. I'm fully acclimated.

Hell to me would be the pervasion of knowledge, the censorship of free thought and the binding that ties most people to their faith. I want to be free to change my mind whenever I feel like it. I never want to feel guilt or remorse for thinking outside of common belief.

Pain is limited only in the same way that joy is partial...

POWER by Jim Morrison

I can make the earth stop in

its tracks. I made the

blue cars go away.

I can make myself invisible or small.

I can become gigantic & reach the

farthest things. I can change

the course of nature.

I can place myself anywhere in

space or time.

I can summon the dead.

I can perceive events on other worlds,

in my deepest inner mind,

& in the minds of others.

I can

I am

People need Connectors

Writers, heroes, stars, leaders

To give life form.

A child's sand boat facing

the sun.

Plastic soldiers in the miniature

dirt war. Forts.

Garage Rocket Ships

Ceremonies, theatre, dances

To reassert Tribal needs & memories

a call to worship, uniting

above all, a reversion,

a longing for family & the

safety magic of childhood

The grand highway

is

crowded

w/

lovers

&

searchers

&

leavers

so

eager

to

please

&

forget.

Wilderness

Now is blessed

The rest

remembered

A man rakes leaves into

a heap in his pard, a plie,

& leans on his rake &

burns them utterly.

The fragrance fills the forest

children pause & heed the

smell, which will become

nostalgia in several years

Sirens

Water

Rain & Thunder

Jet from the base

Hot searing insect cry

The frogs & crickets

Doors open & close

The smash of glass

The Soft Parade

An accident

Rustle of silk, nylon

Watering the dry grass

Fire

Bells

Rattlesnake, whistles, castanets

Lawn mower

Good Humor man

Skates & wagons

Bikes

Where'd you learn about

Satan-out of a book

Love?-out of a box

night of sin (The Fall)

-1st sex, a feeling of having

done this same act in time before

O No, not again

Between childhood, boyhood,

adolescence

& manhood (maturity) there

should be sharp lines drawn w/

Tests, deaths, feats, rites

stories, songs, & judgements

Men who go out on ships

To escape sin & the mire of cities

watch the placenta of evening stars

from the deck, on their backs

& cross the equator

& perform rituals to exhume the dead

dangerous initiation

To mark passage to new levels

To feel on the verge of an exorcism

a rite of passage

To wait, or seek manhood

enlightenment in a gun

To kill childhood, innocence

in an instant

I've heard it put like this..

Earth is the only Hell a believer in Christ will ever know; and the only Heaven an unbeliever will ever know.

As for people who enjoy pain. Self-inflicted? Self-infilcted pain, when I was obsessed with it, was because it was PAIN that I had control over. It was pain that I wanted and I got HOW I wanted it. If I wanted someone else to inflict it on me, I was still having this false sense of control thing going on.

The way I was with that, Beat me, cut me, cause me any type of physical pain you wish, just don't hurt me emotionally.

As for emotional pain.. I don't think there is ANYONE who actually LOVES or ENJOYS emotional pain. They might like to cause others emotional pain, but I'm sure they don't take too kindly to having it done back to them.

I'm not saying it's something anyone should do, I'm not going into demon possession either, but yeah.

As i read this, about halfway through, i said to myself, "this person has a fucked up sense of reality" (and, as i read it, i was thinking it was TweEeKeR... sorry).... when i got to the bottom, and found that it was Morrison...well, point made.

They go to a psychiatrist, if they don't cut themselves to death first.

I know a girl who seriously cannot live unless she believes she's living in hell. She is absolutely miserable when she doesn't suffer, and she complains that she feels like her life sucks when she doesn't have the chance of wailing and crying about how she's miserable.

I hate people like that. That's massochism, I guess.

Anyway, I'm with Sartre: "Hell is other people".

Lack of communication, misunderstandings.

Languages?

Hell, perhaps.

I don't care.
